It is different for everyone, exactly like american football and football/soccer, it depends of which one you love the most or which one you are used to. Of course then it is proper to everyone! We are used to say hockey to talk about field hockey, simply because this is the sport we play and we are used to! I guess it is the same for any hockey players, no matter which hockey they play!

This is only 10% of hockey. You should of shown NHL which is 80% then whl which is 9% then women's hockey which is 1%

What you're saying makes no sense. We don't care about skating, we started laying hockey even before we knew what skating was. Is then ice hockey for people who can't run? This might not be your hockey, but it's our hockey.
