Mærsk, the light blue Danish one, will be the worst shipping company to attack any way, they have contract to exclusively move US army cargo around the world. Just under the name Maersk line limited. That`s why when they were almost attacked a few months a go near the sues canal, 4 pirate ships was blasted by air support.

The problem is that a lot of shipping companies are under open registry in places like Marshall islands and Panama in order to avoid taxes. So most countries won't escort them because they are not registered under that Nations flag.

Lol, dave there are a lot of kidnappings every day in some less legal parts of the world. The kidnappers almost always get away.

Only effective against the most insignificant "pirates". Most have weapons they can threaten the ships with outside of water hose range. Most large ships carry arms now.

And yet all of these together arent as effective as just one man with a rifle. Looking for solutions to a problem that was already solved hundreds of years ago.
