I think a big reason why people play comfey the way they do is because magical leaf gets cancelled by detaching, which encourages you to stay on as long as possible. Plus it's a lot easier to play since you don't need to aim, or even time it most of the time. I think floral healing's overheal shield also gets removed if you detach and you only have enough time to stack it if you stay on? Part of why when possible I like to play draining kiss since making the attach shield bigger gives you a good reason to be constantly reattaching aside from getting petals

Comfey itself isn't the problem, it's the players using it that don't know how to use it. And if the Comfey is good, you can't win if your teammates are bad and can't utilize Comfey's support like the Charizard and Meowscarada in the vid.

(Plus sabeleye can be a meat shield at WORST) COMFEY on the other hand only sits on you or the carry of the team and "heal" them or even if they pick healing. If they pick the sweet scent it's impossible
