to the sarcastic point about why were his shows , etc canceled only after he disrespected the gays, ppl with AIDS, etc, it’s bc in order for someone to be “canceled” , or simply held accountable for their hateful actions and words, THAT group needs to speak up about it. if his previous victims were black women and men, and black women and men didn’t care enough to stop listening to his music, “cancel” him etc, then no one else will. but instead the majority of his fanbase continued to be black men and women who turned the other cheek to his behavior. can’t be mad bc another minority group DOES care and makes NOISE play when someone is hateful toward them.
