Regarding mods, if you mainly/only play this game while recording, then you should do videos with all the mods you like every few videos or so. I appreciate your endeavor to share this game with everyone. The buildings in the arctic is an example of the language family update not working well. You could make a workshop collection of all the mods you enjoy after you try them. This way, both current and new enjoyers of the channel can see what additions you're using if they go into the description Wouldn't completely fix the issue, but it would help to know how you modified the game

As much as I love seing this game and community actually developing, I can't stand the chaos on screen. In early game I was very hopeful to be a part of it some day but now... I'd just need to design those houses from scratch, place no more than one bear carpet at sight, do a store, a crafting room, a farm etc. It's too much for one person and for one life

You need to counter the stress and chaos with single player games. I play minecraft, terraria, skyrim... It helps, this games shines best at roleplaying, not really building, since there is chaos and not really a way to see longer progress.

You should try 2HOL then! Because it has a fairly small communiity, making things from scratch however you want is nice!

I don't think the mess is a product of players doing it poorly, it's just that there are a lot of items in the game and they are not very stackable, but it's a bad idea to get rid of things because u may need them later. So every town is going to become cluttered with stuff all over the ground

Updates and fixes started again months ago. The latest easily allows mods using the steam workshop so it's just a checkmark rather than editing code to do mods. They're only cosmetic since it's an online game, but there are some great ones out there!

Why loot such a nice property that far away? When people would spawn there again, couldn't it be possible they can't reach your town and thus will not be able to steal back what's necessary?

Question... im never one for destruction but... to fix the problem of everyone /dying to go to a different town or go to eve towns, and the issue of entire families moving into old dead towns they dont belong in or function in instead of building new ones and expanding. Would we be interested in doing an apocalypse? Just putting the thought out there. Maybe its time to start fresh and let people go back to their roots, trading and different towns working together for the betterment of the whole. Again i have no clue how it works and im not usually one for destruction, but like if you agree somethings gotta change.

The problem with the apocalypse is that it only takes like 3-4 hours to reach the end of the tech tree if you know what you're doing, so even if you do the apocalypse (which is gonna suck for everyone playing at the time) the next day you'll be back in the same situation as before.

Does it like.. recognize the state of different villages? Like to me itd make sense if you could choose between being born in an eve, medium and/or advanced village.. and you tick or cross off the one you do and dont want.. but that might not be possible much.. ive never played it myself
