EPANET is one of the leading design software in the Water industry! Today's tutorial will discuss how to size a submersible water pump in EPANET v2.2 for a rainwater harvesting network/system!
We will cover all essential topics ranging from pump selection, pipe sizing, system curve, pump definition, and pump curve all the way to how to determine the required pump head/total pumping/dynamic head! I want to add one note: you can simply replace any nodes in Epanet by choosing the other hydraulic type and replacing it with the existing one. here you can select tank and just click on that node you have and replacing will go on and every detailed information like pipes connected and elevations will still remain.
