I use Heelys to move around airports, pretty cool way to get around quickly. I have been doing this for over 1 year now, because I was frustrated I don't get good exercise while traveling.
Addition: Naturally, always careful around everyone, never hit anyone ever, if it gets crowded, or there are any children, immediately stop as you can also walk on Heelys.

When done with zest in your step that would be a great exercise for your core. You engage all those muscles to balance. Pretty cool how you shoot past people and leave them in your wake. As long as you are skilled enough to not run into anyone I say why not. My experience is that people who are not moving with a purpose at the airport are a huge annoyance. They meander while looking at their phone and are always in the way. I would much rather have a person on heelys or without moving with a purpose as they say.

Until you get some and use them, you have no idea. If and when you did, you'd take back everything you've said. Just because he's rolling a lot, doesn't mean his heart rate isn't higher, and that his muscles aren't being worked harder. I'd like to hear from just ONE person with personal experience on Heelys (not a skateboard or even roller skates) that says that they can go as fast as Jan was without their heart rate going up significantly. Love this! Just got back on my Heelys after about 11 years and they are so much fun. Also got into longboarding so was thinking of taking my mini cruiser when travelling for the airport but defo tempted to take my Heelys more instead now. No security worries etc. Such a great way to get to the gate and, more important, so much more fun! I'm 42 but doing more now on wheels that ever before. Can't beat the way rolling - on anything - feels and boosts your mood. Loved this video!

I wish I had a closer angle of your footwork. Are you wearing standard, 1-wheel Heelys, or are those X-2's? You seem to have incredible balance, if those are regular Heelys, when you're adding velocity. It looks like you're rolling on 1 axle for a split second, while pushing off with the other foot. How are you doing that? Are you putting some weight on the rolling luggage, for stability?

I remember having a pair of these as a kid. I believe I was around 12 or 13 at the time and they were IN. Everyone had a pair of these. I remember small rocks would get stuck in the wheel well and you would eat shit! I remember tons of kids getting hurt on these and even breaking bones. I'm surprised they're still around.
