I play DMZ solo mostly because my friends are more WZ guys, I have had some good rando squads but I almost prefer solo - the tension is so high and it's almost like a stealth survival game. The relief at a successful solo exfil is second to none

Solid content. I'm primarily a solo player and this was a good one. Squad hunts are a great twist when you're solo. Head up the mountain and parachute off into AM City for some great hide and seek. Avoid UAV towers like the plague.

Solo DMZ can be so incredible and also so frustrating sometimes. I have been killed more times by a swarm of AI than actual players. Since Im a solo BR player I kinda know my way around real players when they try to push, and since they dont know Im playing solo they dont rush me. But AI is too overpowered and they just dont stop coming. Great game Westie. Glad you enjoy the solo experience.

Just yesterday, I was sniping a 3 player team from the hill south of Cemetary while they were looting around the Golden 50 area. I kept dropping 2 of them while 1 always got away and revived them. Climbed tower and chuted over to the road Exfil east of the Cemetary. Called chopper, climed mountain to Observatory, chuted in as chopper lands....guess who boarded as I did LOL. Gg guys u deserve it!!

I love running solo when my squad isn't on, be alot more fun once they tweak the ai so I can try the more dangerous areas. Fantastic game mode and it's my favourite game I play! My main game 🎮

I've gained confidence as a solo and started taking on Al Bagra Fortress and Akdar Village. You have to skirt the edges and take out the Bots a little at a time. It really pays off with the loot if you take keys for Barracks , there's two small rooms full of good stuff. Just stay far from the UAV towers and you have a better chance.

Solo DMZ is some of the best gameplay I’ve ever had in any game ever! Taking out trios, escaping being hunted by trios and getting isht done with ingenuity is so satisfying. Heck, dropping into the edge of the city and getting into instant sniper battles, winning and repositioning to the skyscrapers for more is amazing fun. This game mode brings me back to the love I had for COD when Black Ops 1 came out. When they sort out the AI and give everyone a 3 plate to start next season it will be near perfect. Also, if you’re a solo being hunted make your way to high ground, waiting for them to come in and then parachute away to a fast vehicle. Edit: Having a spotter scope in your bag is essential as a solo. Edit: Solo exfiltration is best done on top the heli when another team has called in it and are already inside, just monitor it from a tall building and time your flight. With a spotter scope in thermal mode you can scout the area for other solo snipers before you jump.

mate, solo meta for DMZ is throwing knives, dead silence and spotter scope! the spotter scope is an absolute must. DMZ SAS is only going in with only those three, no weapon, no bag and no armour upgrade and leaving with a full loadout and a few operator kills :D haha

Nice! I usually bring a riot shield to keep on my back in solos and use whatever other gun I can bring. Once they change the AI, i might take the shield off though. A riveting gameplay, Westie!

The spotter scope is overpowered for dmz solo. I never like not using stims to get out of bad scenarios, but the spotter has insane range, infinite thermal range and no sniper glint. As long as you are in a good. spot and don't use the spotter scope marking ability, enemies will never know that you are looking at them. Also, if you are in combat, using the spotter scope ping and normal live ping together will last for a long time and basically give you temporary wall hacks.

When grabbing a dog tag, are you tracked by everyone in game? Just there team? Does it last until you exfil or die? Is it like a bounty or is it like them having a UAV up? Sorry for all the questions

When you grab a tag, any alive teammates on the team of the player who’s dog tag you picked up get a moving marker on their mini-map. If you kill a solo, you still hear the announcer voice but no one will be able to track you 👍

I've got about 250 solo extractions, the experience has aged me decade due to stress. I once was cornered ona roof while exstracting by a team of 6...had a short firefight before they came at me from 3 sides, they were jabberin at me and i said i was solo. They let me live and took the chopper with me, hilarious feeling all 6 aiming their guns at me in the chopper expecting betrayal, i did consider tossing a nade at my feet...

Solo only! It's a completely different game! They should give the solo DMZ players special rewards. Getting the Biohazard skin solo for instance is truly something else.

start with spotter and claymores to set traps, and pick up smokes for escapes/exfil. Smokes are a solo's best friend...
