Congress has played a huge role in making the Hindu community tolerant, mature and wise since 1947 as Congress was leading the country for the most part. However, now with BJP in power which is going to continue most likely, that element of patience, maturity and wiseness is slowly but surely going away. Every Indian must be thankful to the Congress government coz, post independence, unlike Pakistan, India chose democracy and secularism as it's social fabric. If BJP was in power since the beginning, Sachin, Dravid, Dhoni, Virat would have all be speaking broken English like the Pakistani cricketers and would have been bu*t of such jokes. Hindi language would have gotten the same preference over English like Urdu did in Pakistan. This only proves that for governments to work for every citizen, religion should be the last thing to leverage on. It's basically a shortcut for thieves we have disguised as politicians.

This statement on the match made me remember one incident. One of my friends narrated this to me. He said-One of my friends used to live near a Muslim family. Every time India-Pak match is there on TV,shouts would come out of their house-Hit Afridi, Hit Inzamam, Hit the Indian bowlers, Sabash Akhtar. The boy from that family was friend with my friend. So, my friend and 3 other friends asked this boy to come with them to watch movie in theater. The movie was Gaddar. When the opening scene showed massacre of Sikhs and Hindus, the boy enjoyed and laughed. But when Sunny Deol uprooted the handpump and thrashed the pakistanis, the boy said-I will go now. My friend and 3 others said- You can't leave, sit and watch. You enjoyed the opening scene, now enjoy this.They put him in middle seat,held his hands firmly and another boy went to back row to held his head straight and made him watch the whole scene. After that day, whenever they ask that boy to join him to watch movie in theater, that boy would run away saying-No,never again. I know not everyone is same but there are some rotten apples and thing is they hide among the masses and they know they will be protected. The day they will be exposed then will be the real change.
