Good evening my friends. Today I tried something a little bit different, using the Digitakt to make a guitar sample sound glitchy and beautiful :) I used a new feature of the new firmware. I selected the slice mode, which automatically slices your sample to a grid. By pressing "yes" on the source page you can automatically lock slices to your set trigs. Either random or in chronological order. Every now and then I placed a trigless trig with pitch up by an octave. Basically a trigless trig doesn't trigger the sound. So you can use it to change parameters of the existing sound playing. A bit of reverb and stereo-spread delay are finishing up the Digitakt side.
The modular is playing a chord drone from plaits and a little bit of random stuff with Marbles and Rings. The Neutron plays a bass note and FX-Aid and Beads are for some texture and reverb action. Instruo Øchd is modulating Plaits, Beads and various other parameters.
In Ableton I added the abberant dsp Digitalis VST for some more textures and sample rate reduction.
