I feel like the entity should hold back on the player so it doesn't seem annoying all to much. I also feel like the idea of it only bothering you if you actively search for it is more interesting than it just harassing you for existing.

(Excuse me if any of these change in this video, I’m at the start of the video and I only watched the first one on this mod :P.) The really cool thing about this mod is that it‘a actually pretty scary (at least in my humble, anxious opinion) instead of relying entirely on loud noises and jump scares. I started watching a ton of Minecraft horror mod videos a few months ago as a way to help overcome my anxiety (weird, I know, but it helped) and soon enough, they just stopped being even minutely scary (at least in the videos). This one has actual suspense and mystery to it instead of just screaming at you, tilting its head, attacking, and jump scaring you. It’s ominous, and its sounds are pretty subtle and the interactions with you are pretty brief, so you don’t get to learn much - which is genuinely pretty scary. (Apologies for yapping about a whole lotta nothing lmao)
