Blue Lock (Japanese: ブルーロック, Hepburn: Burū Rokku) (stylized as BLUELOCK) is a Japanese manga series written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura. It has been serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine since August 2018, with its chapters collected in 24 tankōbon volumes as of May 2023. In 2018, the Japanese national team finished 16th in the FIFA World Cup. As a result, the Japan Football Association hires the football enigma Ego Jinpachi. His master plan to lead Japan to stardom is Blue Lock, a training regimen designed to create the world's greatest egotist striker. Those who fail Blue Lock will never again be permitted to represent any Japanese team. Yoichi Isagi, an unknown high school football player conflicted about his playing style, decides to join the program to become the best striker in the world.

All of the parts and reasoning for Ness being a genius and awakening are super sound, but it doesn't make sense that Isagi would expect Ness to pass. In 291, Isagi made his motivation in the game to read the changes faster than anyone; he'll predict Ness' evolution ahead of time.

I think ness scoring also would allow bastard to become a truly strong team. Kaisers ego needs to constantly be challenged ness being a reliable scoring turns bastard into a two prong scoring system. Where both ness and kaiser can compete in order to become better and push eachother. Similar to how isagi can bring out kaisers best.

I could see ness sending a really wierd trivela shot. Making the ball be at a perfect speed and position to allow isagi to shoot a goal that is further from the goal than all his previous shots.

Aside from the hate , Yeah as much as i hate ness as a character it really explores people feeling helpless and knowing not what to do in stressful situations Ness evolution would depict a good story, because rather than taking a shonen route of hero always win its nice to see some characters exploring.

I think another good reason that Ness will score the final goal is the fact that if Isagi scores, he will be ahead of Rin in the rankings. I honestly cant see Isagi having more value than Rin moving onto the U20 arc especially after Rin’s recent buff. It makes a lot more sense for them to go into it as equals which is why I think they’ll have the same value at the end of the arc

Tbh realistically it feels like Isagi is scoring but a problem I have with that is how will they make this goal different from what's already happened in the match. He's already scored a two gun volley. Kaiser has used luck. It needs to be different from those imo, I wonder what Kaneshiro will cook
