This is How *NOT* to Critique Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

Of course i had to defend this game. I knew that synthetic man was going to have a wild review... and i was right.
Also, you may realise i didn't include every single part of his video. That's because of a couple of reasons:
1. Some points weren't addressed because i felt like they were nothing burgers
2. Some points i didn't have too much of a problem with

It is a sequel to Final Fantasy VII Remake (2020) and the second in a planned trilogy of games remaking the 1997 PlayStation game Final Fantasy VII. Like its predecessor, the gameplay combines real-time action with strategic and role-playing elements. Set immediately after Remake's events, players control mercenary Cloud Strife and a party of characters principally comprising the eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE, who embark on a journey across the Planet to prevent the megacorporation Shinra from exploiting its life essence, the Lifestream, as an energy source, and defeat former elite SOLDIER Sephiroth, who seeks to unite with the Planet to achieve greater power.

I first played the OG in '97. and since then it's still my favorite game. Both Remake and Rebirth have more than a few flaws, but after what I've experienced so far, it looks like this trilogy might be my number one pick in the future. As for the critics, I agree that this game will not appeal to (to put it mildly) someone who hates Aerith and simps for Tifa. I'm glad the devs aren't one of those types of people and it looks like they know what they're doing.

yeah, my main problem is that they may be flaws. But it's the idea that the writers are taking a dump on the originals. It's so clear that they love the original game.
