This is amazing! I built it and it looks fire. Even tho i disagree with some design decisions it still pretty strong enough to not fall off! Definitely favourite between all 71772 set alts!

Thanks 😁 I tried to use the clear windshield but the proportions was way off. I wanted to move the gem piece a little bit further up but the grey slope piece helped to position the chest panels at the correct angle. I'm happy I didn't forced it as it end up nicely 😁

I had a lot of issues with the mech falling over to the back, due to insufficient stability of the knee joints. Integrated a 6000650 piece on the backside as a bump stop to limit the bending ange of the knee and it works perfect now. Thanks again for this great alternative model!

I love this build alot! So nicely detailed and the shaping is cool. I do like the concept of the original set, but the execution is lacking in some areas like a lack of leg articulation and some more pieces to better hide the ball joints would have been nice. I do love this build tho 👍

Thanks. I'm glad you liked it! 😁 I agree. The original concept was sweet! I do think they should have released this as the big set so they can give it more pieces. The front had so many details but the back was too simple. I hope they re-release this in the future as a remastered set like Zane's Titan Mech to give the concept another chance.

This is great! About how tall is it? How does it compare to the height of other modern mechs?

Thanks for the comment. It stand at 8 and 3/4 inches. Not sure how it looks with other modern mechs but it got that evil version of some warrior or hero mech. It's still my favorite among all the alternative build mech I made 😁

Hmm I guess around 35 studs from the feet to head. I don't have the set with me now and that's my safe guess. You could go for 40 studs tall to be sure 😁

Thanks for the feedback 😁 I only encountered the ribs falling off the clips when I opened the cockpit too fast. It might be due to my set being new and not building anything using the pieces aside from the original build 😁
