it's not a new scam, mitre has given a name to this scam/technique but I can't remember what it was. But it definitely is too clever for the average user (and advanced users aswell if they haven't woken up properly) edit: I think its called browser-in-the-browser attack.

@@Snxgur just because you've seen something used for scamming doesn't mean there's a legitimate use for it :) Brother he probably meant that he makes software that renders on a frontend with which you can interact, such cases can be observed with online video/photo editors.

You can use any virtual machine software to stay safe while checking for something suspicious (like an app that may contain malware or a suspicious site like in this video). Virtual box and vmware is free to use and i would highly recommend them. I am using virtual box frequently for checking different operating systems for fun and its very easy to use. Stay safe

Nice tactic, make it look like your vote can be just what helps your friend win. Unlucky for them that I'm lazy and thought: "He can get those 2 votes from some1 else" Also CS is always a red flag for me. If you visit the link now a red warning appears.

Yeah my friend got scammed by this and he wanted me to when i saw this message i knew its prbl a scam cuz iremember logging in smth like that afyer i told him its scam he deleted me from his friend list sadly,he was a good friend :(
