Thanks for the video! It was very helpful. The advice about not getting discouraged when losing an opportunity really resonated with me. It's definitely true that missing out on bids can take a toll, especially in competitive markets like some areas of New Jersey.

I am so glad it helped. Just keep at it and keep learning from the ones that don't work out.

Researching the neighborhood is very important, especially if one will be working in NYC.

Anywhere in any country, doing your own research on the neighborhood is key. Only you know what vibe you want and what amenities and travel advantages.

Researching a realtor is essential, all theycare about is the money in their pockets,, they are the ones set the price HIGH(Very High) turnover is fast,,, research communities, (many are highly integrated, check for flood zones)check true value on home(past history) my realtor deal nightmare(i had no where to go at settlement they put money pockets and walked out( I in my car,) there in their bed)

Not all realtors have commission breath, but not all realtors are good, that is completely correct. Your experience doesn't sound like it was great, but that doesn't mean that there aren't ones out there who actually put your best interests first.
