This is how to not learn Sage in FFXIV

I have not played Sage at all nor do I understand the complexity behind the job. The only barrier healer I've played before this was Scholar, this shouldn't be that bad right?

I should say Im a bigger fan of sage due to its mobility with instant casts. Scholar does have its benefits, I definitely prefer sage

Yes ;w; I keep forgetting about kardia my god and yes Sage mobility is really nice now that I'm comfortable with it haha, it was a bad idea to go into an ultimate not knowing what to do

@@Gamemaster-64 There is actual gun sage weapon in one of Shadowbringers dungeons. Running it once or twice as sage can easily land you it.

Literally the same experience when I first tried sage after scholar. Till this day I have no clue wtf am I doing 90% of the times when I need to heal or shield on that job.

Need tips? First things first, you can reapply shields constantly Second, don't over apply shields. You can regularly heal people's HP while they're still shielded. The mitigation of sage is insane. But the bigger healing and weaving takes knowledge of what's available. All your options. Like, give shields out via eukrasian diagnosis, pepsis, eukrasian diagnosis again. It'll break the shield for added hp and you can reapply the shield at better HP. Sages biggest strengths are the movements, casting heals on the move. Weaving and healing via DPS.

sage was the first and only healer ive leveled to 90, i oddly enjoy it, maybe i should try the other healers as well.
