A light bulb just lit up in my head! I fish ponds and a big lake with my kayak and I see this approach working well on the ponds but never really thought all that much about it on the big lake. Great vid!

Look for cutouts or dips near the bank, along where the current flows. Even if you don't see gunk on the water, try working a few spots lime that.

That's easy - YoZuri walking bait you can get off the shelf at Walmart. About the same price as a Spook and just as effective.

The spawn here has gone incredibly fast. Like you said, onto those early summer patterns. That current sure can get them to position. Looking forward to getting on the rivers around here. Love fishing natural current in the summer.
