Thanks. Nice to see a loving Austrian family. Over here in Ireland I know of Austria only as the home of Arnold Schwarzenegger who if he'd listened to his mum would be a sheep farmer which Id like to see and the home of Josef Fritzl...😮 I must visit Vienna one day which I've always wanted to❤

Thank you so much 🤗 there's so much more to Austria than just Vienna. Don't get me wrong if you've never seen it you really should but especially Tirol (the western province) where I'm from is similar to what people usually think of Switzerland. Mountains, lakes, snow, the best ski resorts in the world (for real), history and so much more. Plus it's only an hour from Italy which is also a plus 🍕😅

Christmas Eve we had the entire family over throughout the day and evening opening up presents, food, and a game, then church. Christmas morning went to my mom’s for the annual Christmas Swedish breakfast. Lunch at our place for company coming over, the relaxation.

My situation is rather different.(solitary) though equally beautiful. I make some phone calls to loved ones & wish them a Merry Christmas while I keep the fire going,make pottable water from snow & ice to drink & washing . I spent the day cooking for myself in a land blanketed deep in silent soft white snows far as eyes can see, as well as cooking veggie soup to mix with kibble for my 19 beautiful wild ferals cats of all sizes & ages & looks. When I kneel to feed them on the porch, I pick them up,cuddle & pet how they like(moody & wild) as I fill the bowls from the big bowl & they swarm around me. I could not ask for more except to hold & pet that big tom (Timothy) & hear him purr a little more often, A STUPID BEAUTIFUL PRETTY TIGER PATCHED & SNOW WHITE TOM WITH HIS THICK FLUFF WINTER COAT ON. LOOKS LIKE A TIGER FERAL PURSIAN IF YOU COULD IMAGINE ,20LBS? YES A LARGER ALPHA MALE. "STUPID BEAUTIFUL!" I'm so lucky, no one else have ever even seen them,they are shy & only know & trust me enough to dare. Certainly no one else has ever pet,touched or held them, that would cause a medical emergency. They have to know you,& you have to know each one of them & their moods & trust level to pull off such a stunt! But I do it on a daily basis. Yes they all have names from kittens to the alpha males & females. It was a great Christmas making fuss on them on the ground porch. I set down the bowl, clap my hands loudly and I yell,"COME ON,LETS GO",and cats come running through the snow from every direction, from the woods,from under pine trees,buildings & anything they can get under. I have had some very large ones here in the past in this colony. Some have shorter tails, longer tails & normal length tails. This particular area of U.S.A. has some of the biggest feral cats ever seen. Let's say as big as any bobcat sometimes. I'm sure giant Mainecoon, mainecoon & American short hair are in their breeding. I have a female kitten (Francine) just 9 months old about 12 -14 lbs, well on her way to 20lbs by 1 yr old. Yes I got her holdable & petable. She may break 20lbs,I dont know? Her poppa was a alpha rogue male that showed up about 1 year ago,then vanished, Francine is twin in looks to him. How big was he? Well, I dont really want to say publicly, people will think I'm using mind bending drugs? Let's just say 35lbs is not out of the question & over 5 feet long from nose to tail tip. Body trunk was same size as 2, 5 gallon pails end to end,same diameter ,that is from front shoulders to ass,no tail,neck or head included.
