Irrigation system is very cool. Welcome Karen to this amazing family and channel. They help rescue horses who are in desperate need of food and TLC and then find them loving forever homes. They basically help anyone and everything in need. They are simply a beautiful, kind, God loving family, and you'll love their channel. Fascinating! I'm in the UK and we really don't have use for irrigation much here. We get occasional 'hosepipe bans' if it's a real dry summer but that's about it. I guess farmers probably do use it for some crops but most of us have no need for irrigation.. It rains enough. 😏 Love your vids and seeing how things are done in a different part of the world 👍 And watching your beautiful horses ❤Thanks

Back in the 70’s this is how the watermelon farmers in White Tanks, Az watered the fields. Ditches with siphon tubes into the fields!

We have a field by us called the monkey field because years ago that’s where the circus was when it came to town on a local farm. The monkey field is still called that today and is under houses now.

Irrigation is a blessing to receive when you are living on semi-arid land. Especially if it is managed and not detracting from others’ supply. You have a great system worked out there! We are short of fresh water at times in southern CA but have lots of the salty stuff! - Cheers from the Palmers in Surf City🌊

Oh, man! I cannot begin to imagine living where it's so exceptionally dry. I live in Northeast Texas about halfway between Dallas and Shreveport. Thankfully, we receive enough rain to keep stock tanks full and our lakes close to capacity. I feel spoiled to have plenty of water, and often an overabundance of water. Settlers to Arizona and New Mexico had to have been TOUGH to survive.

We get pressurized Irrigation during the summer from our city for all of our outdoor watering. We have access three days a week, but we are only supposed to use it for a few hours in the evening.

Yes we pay to own shares and pay an annual assessment also. We are lucky to get 3 to 6 inches per year

I’m from Maine, I have my own well. I have left the water running for a long weekend and never ran out of water. Pretty sure Blake forgot to turn it off…. Water is plentiful here, I can’t imagine having to buy water.
