I think the opposite when ur ahead u r more tanky from lvl diff and time to kill and when you are behind after core item u should get defence bcuz they will dive u and make plays they wont make if they are behind and the unexpected tankiness catches them off guard. You have the advantage of having them an unfavorable situation. Maybe not so much when it comes to adc tho since backliner.

When playing with Varus, what's usually the optimal runes to take when against (somewhat) squishy comps or tanky comps?

I typically take first strike hex flash transcendence mana flow and gathering storm, if they r very tanky then u could do giant slayer Mayb

Prio early on duo lane is almost always better especially into poke lanes. If u give up prio u get pushed under turret and poked to death and eventually dove

@@talanwr Ah, ok. Im new to mobile (few marks off GM). On PC if they’re deep enough in lane to poke when the wave is already shoved when jg isn’t showing that’s just inting, so in this situation if I can’t setup a freeze I’m tempted to ping jg and give up some cs for gank setup. Don’t know about higher elo mobile but against GM-challenger peak teams it’s won me a lot of games so far.

Your support is playing correctly. You’re not taking priority of your lane. You’re literally throwing your hands up, giving your lane away to the support and then complaining about it immediately at the beginning of the video as soon as the gameplay starts you literally walked out of lane when your support walked up in the triangle and you backed up and then immediately complained about him. You’re sitting here complaining about your support not letting you play the game and participate and I see you doing exactly what you’re accusing him of. Did not have the stomach to watch you past 2 1/2 minutes
