Like most things Revv does, by everything I have seen this is another strong product

Thank you for the review. I had no idea what is a REVV . But after discovering it in the Helix it is one of my favourite Amps now.

This is great middle ground between the lunchbox G20 and the full-size Generator 100/120.

Das ist genau das, was ich suche. Der 120er ist geil, mir aber zu groß. Der 50er hat alles was ich brauche und die perfekten Maße. Der steht auf meiner Testliste.👍

Today I bought the Ernie Ball Prodigy 2mm, small one. I wonder how it is, whether will stick between strings sometimes.
@PooNinja7 ай бұрын
@@mylogify I’m really liking the Dunlop flow max grip its made of ultex whatever that is. Its very hard and the lil ridges give amazing grip. I also really enjoy the shape as with standard shaped picks tend to spin in my hand till im using the sholder instead of the tip, that’s not a problem with the sharper sides on the flow shape. It’s made me want to experiment with different styles and shapes. Rock on Sir
@mylogify7 ай бұрын
@@PooNinja I also like to use the Regular Flow 2mm pick when want my wrist relaxed, using it too, my first favorite is Jazz III XL. Also bought a single Malmsteen pick :D. You'd maybe like the Petrucci or Andy James 2mm pick, it's bigger than Flow and it would also be comfortable without needing a grip, maybe for you.

All I want now is that they'll release a Generator in a tube preamp or floor amp format like Victory, then I'll definitely buy one!

Got the 120 MKiii, so I'm telling myself I don't need this, regardless of diff tubes/voicing. But it's hella dope regardless. HENNING! Get a G50 that's opposite your D40 and another 2x12 that's opposite that one. Oh wait they probably don't make blue grille cloth, but the head!

How would you compare this to the Dynamis D40? I haven't seen anyone voice any thoughts - guessing the D40 is more vintagey?

That's a good sounding amp fair play.

I think Revv called those "foot switch" because if you hit your foot hard enough, it will switch your left foot to a right foot and vice versa. Somehow I'm against this one having the purple channel, and that is weird, because I do love the purple channel🤔 Maybe is not that, but the fact they didn't include the red channel? I mean, this could be called G50P

@AdrianNWB7 ай бұрын
I have the MKIII 120. The purple and red channels sound great on their own if you’re not tuned down super low, but I have yet to find a high gain amp that does not benefit from a boost whenever you’re playing a 7 or 8 string guitar. Boosting is kind of a necessary evil when you’re introducing those lower frequencies. I could definitely hear some low end mud when you switched to the 7 string.
