Excellent advice! I think what you bring to the table that others do not is a wonderful mixture of charisma and approachability. You strike me as the perfect partner for adventures and that is hard to teach. As for VR, I ran a VR based makerspace for 3 years before Covid shut us down. What I learned is that the technology is here and very good. What is missing is content at least in the higher education sector where I work. Like KZbin those early content creators will have an advantage.

Such useful tips! We definitely agree about video though - as much as photography is obviously a huge industry still, video is just so necessary. Even if it's as simple as making some behind the scenes videos of you taking photos - you still need it!

Laura, when you say offer content creation services, do you mean edit photos for them, or take photos for them? if you have to take photos for whoever you want to offer services from, what happens if they are too far?

Could you do a video that really gives a detailed breakdown of how to put together a good pdf portfolio. Ive seen videos talking about it but it's kind of general. Things like how many photos, layout of contact info, about me, ect. I know it needs to be more mainstream than your web site

Hi Tim. I will give the video a thought. I always recommend a website. For me is the best way to present your portfolio. It’s more professional, you can divide it by photography categories, and add an “about me” section. It will also provide you with a professional email. When sending a PDF, some companies don’t take it as seriously and many of them don’t want to have to download the attachment. However, if you want to do it, “Canva” is a great free website where you can grab portfolio templates and create your own. 😊
