As far as action adventures go, Arkham City must be the most forgiving and stream-lined as it can possibly get -- without being too intrusive: Button prompts as soon as the game suspects you of having forgotten a game mechanic, voice overs thoughout every step of the story with clear instructions, even an encyclopedic tutorial within the menus that has all the answers just in case there's something you're forgetting. And yet, DSP still can't figure out the easiest of tasks. I hope any dev watching this understands that this is not the average consumer to be considered when designing a game.

The first time I played this game I had gotten out of the hospital after surgery. I was on killer pain pills and barely able to comprehend anything because I was in pain. I still did a thousand times better than DSP

I did exactly the same thing at the end of last May I had a surgery and actually just this week after a kidney surgery last Thursday. I'm sitting there/here messed up on percocet and pain, with no sleep, thinking "man I should play better." Then I see this and realize even in the state I am in that I didn't make any of these mistakes. I mainly had/have issues with riddler stuff occasionally when messed up like this. But then again we all pay attention the game and read on screen prompts instead of talking through and skipping them all lol. Had to reply after seeing this. I was thinking the same thing in the same situation.

Lots of us fail at certain points in games. Sometimes in easier parts. But when we retry the parts we failed at, we tend to not do what we tried to do before, or be more careful when it comes to stealth.

The beginning of this is like in Arkham Asylum when it took him 30 minutes to figure out to use the line launcher to get across the Arkham mansion once Poison Ivy took over. The instructions are there are the screen to dive bomb and then pull up to gain altitude. And of course he wanders right up to the bad guys and questions how it is they managed to see him. It's called stealth. Something DSP doesn't understand.

This game completely exposes DSP and shows how terrible he is at video games. You can literally see when he mashes buttons and Batman does the punch or block animation. He has absolutely no patience or finesse. Doesn't learn from his mistakes.

Former profighting game player? Yeah, 26:57 onwards begs to differ. He can't block even though they telegraph more than Samuel Morse, can't use any weapons or special moves, and doesn't realize that you can block or stun the Riddler informant without knocking him out.

You can even see him attack and counter the Riddler informant several times (which I assume he does by accident), but even when he does that he doesn't stop and think "Oh hey, I just attacked the Riddler informant and he didn't get knocked out! Maybe he has as much health as these other grunts!" And it really irritates me that he keeps shitting on the game and calling it bad, when I played this, I loved it.

DarkSydePhil is not a scrub, as calling him a scrub is an insult to all scrubs. He is a stain. I chose this term because when you have a stain in clothes, dishes, etc, you can clean it up, which can be seen as defeating it, by scrubbing. Also, this video is showing me death screens I've never seen before. That is testament to how much Phil sucks. And you'd think that after getting smacked while doing it 5 times in a row he'd stop doing the ground pound in a crowd.

I’ve seen a lot of Phil’s gameplay by this point and I can honestly say that this game is one of his most shameful displays. He’s totally incompetent and even though this is old gameplay, he’s probably only gotten worse. The only difference is nowadays he has stream chat to hold his hand constantly.

As a guy who’s played all of the Arkham games and perfected the Predator/Combat stuff in each game, this is incredibly painful to watch. I picked up Asylum on launch day when I was 10, and I knew mostly how to do everything. Same with the other games. The thing that kills me though is how he does the combat, I scream at my screen because of just how bad he is at the combat.
