In the year 2020, with the release of Set 4, the first-ever loss streak trait was added to the game. Fortune quickly became a fan favorite, changing the course of TFT forever. From that point on, developers ensured that future sets launched with a trait that rewarded players for losing their fights. Since then, we've seen traits like Underground in Monsters Attack and Heartsteel in Remix Rumble. And Inkborn Fables is no different! In Set 11, Fortune returns with a twist. In today's video, I will explain exactly how this trait works and what you can do to guarantee the best possible reward from your cash out!

Wait that fortune start table is so useful! I love that! I really like how it’s a set thing like this instead of how heartsteel was a little influenced on enemy unit kills too. I get why they put the dice roll in too now! Using a table like that would make it too easy to get the cashout you want and be a lot less risky. With the dice it just adds more risk. I love it

The set 11 fortune was a extremely dizzying at first when I tried to play it but once I understood it I find it really fun. Annoying with getting 6 dice sometimes but fun

I've been playing a lot of fortune and I always transition from annie 2star, strong tank items on her and then flex damage items in the backline for azir/hwei/whatever

Does this... work with the golden remover? Remove emblem after every fight, then equip it if you are about to lose to gain stacks, and don't equip it if you somehow win so you have 0 penalty?

I mean the only advantage is to avoid selling the filler unit every round, but it's not really necessary

As Leduck said. You can just sell the filler unit you put fortune emblem on every round and then do it again. But if you get Malphite or Kai'sa encounter it is definitely less mental chores to play the game with

The one game I won with Fortune (lost the other 2 because of bad rng on Wandering Trainer) I pivoted into Duelist Trist + Voli reroll on Wolves. And then went 9 after that to fill up my board with Dragonmancers. I highly recommend that if Duelists are uncontested

I hit 9 fortune last game and discovered that its bugged and if u take the 9 fortune out and back in u get another tree 💀So by the end i had like 10 trees and 2000k gold but didnt hit any 3 star 5 cost sadly cuz they were contested

The best economy/reward trait are the one where you nedd to lose 8, then win; this need way more skill than a heartsteel, where winning is just a little worse than losing, isntead of "yeah, fuck, cant keep going, need to change my comp to win this game now"

Old set pirate or Pitover is too easy to use. You hit it early, lose a bunch while keepping unfair econ, Roll down at 7 and cash out. And you have enough power from loot to go 8 so unless you got very unlucky and face a super lucky top 1 in your roll down fight, it's basically a free "Sack you HP then go top 4". Heartsteel and this one on other hand require you to acually take a risk when gambling
