Actually, I've been training with Jun for less than a month, just because I picked up Tekken on sale for her. I used her a lot in TTT2, but back then I was just mashing all the buttons xD. My problem is that in online fights, nerves get the better of me and I forget what I've practiced :/. My biggest weakness is also sidestepping; I mess that up a lot :/. I guess time will also help me improve. I played Tekken extensively five years ago, then TTT2, and later Tekken 7 for a few months xD. But now I've been trying to spend more time on Tekken 8, which I really like. Great video, I enjoy watching these replays in the game and jotting down the combos on paper, especially yours or PTJ's, who are my favorites.

@silverhand77605 same here, i just started tekken 8 yesterday and picked up jun. briefly played t7 (jin & lee) but i wanna take it serious now. i learned a few combos with jun today but i‘m struggling to implement them in a match. having a blast though, so i don’t really care. time will tell. good luck to you!

you are so relatable because i played her back in tt2 and found her so beautiful, not only that but her fighting style is so satisfying to play. now that im on tekken 8, i learned lili like most have cus shes so easy but now i wanna learn jun, and getting nerves before a match is also something im trying to cope with because it sucks when i forget. but i really do hope that i learn her quicker js as i learned lili, and more if i could !!

After seeing this video, I'm definitely going to replicate some things like the Miare Gen cancel, it looks so cool. I noticed how much you can adapt your combos depending on where you're placed in the arena. I can see how much mastery you have, I'm hoping I can reach this level one day. It'll be a long run given that I can't even react properly to an incoming low (like Snake Edge or Jin's d2 XD)

Thank you. I would say just be very familiarized with her move list and what move gives her frame advantages on block and hit. Her F4, FF1+2, and SS4 gives her frame advantage on block. DB3 is a good love poke to open your opponent up and give her +2 on hit. Also, note her simple frame punishers. UF1/214 for -12 moves, B42 for -13, DF2 for -16 and more. Launch opponents staggering lows (Snake Edges and Hellsweep like moves) with her WS3. Be sure to learn her optimal combos. If you want, If you want, I can share a link to the Jun discord so you ask any other questions. People in there usually responds pretty quick and very friendly. :)

That was so beautifully executed, I really got to do better! Last night I played against a Bryan who was going to promote and I made him rage quit at the end! but luckily I was still able to get the points. Any tips against Bryan? he can be a nuisance at time.

Bryan is can be pretty difficult for the female Kazamas for sure since he has good neutral tools to check their panic options very well and good approach. Your really forced to play “smaller Tekken” with him and using her faster poking tools Jabs, DF1, B2, and db3 at the right moments and sorta fishing for Cans Cans when Bryans like to use his slower moves that give him plus frames. Jun also can punish is -10 moves hard so that’s a plus.

Yes this is her. Her moveset from Tag 1 one, they merged it in Asuka’s moveset. In Tekken Tag 2, they gave Jun more unique moves so that she can be different from Asuka.
