True. Imagine how that plays out in the workplace or the community. With people who think like this, you can never do anything right. If you do well on an exam, you must have cheated. If you tick the boxes for promotion, they won't see it. And if you are around in the neighbourhood, you are up to no good. It's amazing how they don't question their hatred and bias. It's a sure sign of mental ill health. WebMD says, "Delusional disorder, previously called paranoid disorder, is a type of serious mental illness called a psychotic disorder. People who have it can’t tell what’s real from what is imagined. Delusions are the main symptom of delusional disorder. They’re unshakable beliefs in something that isn’t true or based on reality ... People with delusional disorder often can continue to socialize and function normally, apart from the subject of their delusion, and generally do not behave in an obviously odd or bizarre manner." Sounds just like these folks.

There is certainly none in my post, which simply points out that unfounded hatred is mental illness. Truth can be difficult to deal with and painful. That does not equate it with hatred. Good house? What a lot of people don't realise is that those mud huts with thatched roof are so advanced and eco friendly. They keep the occupants so cool in the scorching African heat and those roofs, when well put together and using the correct methods, they are waterproof AND breathable at the same time, adding to the cooling effects of the interior while aiding ventilation at the same time! When the huts need repairs, just plaster with a bit more mud and replace the roof every once in a while. The technology that goes into those huts, which the modern world think as primitive, is one that was ahead of its time in terms of practicality and sustainability.

Some of these people do seem ignorant. Others look like simple trolls. And we all know that no matter if it is about a serious matter or just a silly game, it never pays to feed a troll. @@TheoCynical I mean, I totally believe we aren't as different from animals as we would like to think. In fact, animals are often nicer to others of their own kind than we are. She, to my knowledge, is not speaking in her mother tongue and yet can effortlessly outwit the trolls. Tells you a lot about those trolls. Not only is she very beautiful, but also comfortable in her own skin . She is also well dressed, if the trolls had any sense they would be able to recognize designer outfits. I think that person is just jealous because her skin tone is so even and I swear, she doesn't have any freckles or moles or anything. She can wear pastels, jewel tones and look amazing. She would look stunning as a model for anything but could you imagine her modeling wedding gowns? Wow!!

@@rayannphillip931 I love how people want to put down places they've never been. Glad you showed her, when I was younger, I met a young woman from Ethiopia in Texas and I told her I didn't want to sound ignorant (which I did at the time) I asked her about the poverty in her country, she told me Ethiopia was wealthy and if the cameras in the U.S. only showed the homeless people, other countries would think we were poor too. That taught me a lot and now that I have visited several countries, I really see how imperative it is to visit places before you open your mouth like you really know something about them. Nothing beats boots on the ground.

@@KellieMcRaeHurricaneInHeels Even people who traveled can still be ignorant of the places they traveled to especially if they only traveled a small part of a country. What people need to do is to broaden their knowledge. They don't have to travel themselves if they can't or don't want to. They can just research about the place, then they can come up with their own opinion/s of that place based on the articles, blogs, vlogs, etc. Experience is the best teacher and experiences can be derived through various means.

Kelle M Ethiopia is not very wealthy 🤨 it is one of the poorest countries in the world. I was literally born there, and last time I visited (not very long ago) there were many many homeless people begging for food on the streets, so much so it is normal. People with inflamed foots asking for money. Lots of trash. And this is in the city. Very often, it is a very ugly place. There is some beauty, occasionally if you go out of Addis Ababa, and there is some modernization like the mall but everything is expensive. A chocolate bar is worth 20 dollars. The internet used to also be horribly expensive so no one used it. And this is was only 5 years ago, maybe things changed since then. It is nothing like America. There is good and bad because I enjoyed being with my family and how everything is walking distance but the pollution is bad. They also have hole in the ground toilets most times, and stray dogs. You only get warm water if you live in an apartment or boil the water warm. Clean water comes in jugs and in bottles.

I always say, there is nothing like having boots on the ground that way you can see firsthand but if you don't really know, I try not to speak on it. I live in Mexico and people who have never been here have decided its too dangerous to visit, meanwhile I live in the 2nd safest city in all of N. America.
