Alois, always been a massive fan! Fiora isn't really that tricky, since you can easily bait out her W by holding your E, into using it on her W. They never W your first Q, but 70% of the time their use it on your second one. Unironically Irelia and Renekton are the only tricky matchups, even thought they are super winnable. Love the content, happy to finally see my OTP get played!

im a d2 aatrox main my highest peak gm 238 lp and i only play aatrox eclipse no matter what team against even when gore and dusk were broken i didnt build them or abuse them i just love how eclipse work on aatrox i just dont die many times the shield came in clutch for me and the dmg is so damn high

Yeah the shield is insane for a kit like his, and there's also the % damage. I want to play Aatrox and stick to an Eclipse playstyle as well.

My biggest counter as a top laner is enemy jungler being 5/0 and getting 3 drakes before laning phase ends

If you want to try another full AD Aatrox build, try Xiao Ming's build with Eclipse, Black Cleaver, Grudge, Hullbreaker and situational last item. Build order is dependant on lane matchup and progression of the game but typically BC for tank MU and Eclipse for basically everything else (he builds Grudge first into Yorick and Garen sometimes idk why).

I agree Fiora wins hard after 1.5 items. but in lane she is not that hard to play against as aatrox. Her Q cooldown is too long early and her W is pretty easy to play against as a pseudo-ranged champ like Aatrox. Aatrox out-sustains grasp Fiora also.

And why doesnt she freeze the wave in her happy spot ? I dont lane champs so ill probably never understand this. If both top laners have the same objective with their wave, where does the wave go ? What advantage does fiora gain from pushing the wave to your tower ? Her jungler not being able to gank you and her also not really being able to kill you just for getting some mote CS doesnt really seem like a good enough benefit

Fiora cant use the happy spot. She needs the wave in the center. Otherwise they hug the wall and with all the minions its impossible to move around. Along with the wall its just impossible to ever hit vitals. You just get minion blocked all the time and wall denies the vital on the side. You can hold the wave there to play defensive but you cant use it to setup a kill

Its a skill matchup in fiora's favor. But its no free lane. To much skill expression and its really close. About 60-40 for fiora I would say but it can get out of hand very quickly.
