Going all-in works everytime but the last time. Two pair is the most common hand to win in Hold'em. Tournament play is an (+)85% loser. 15% to cash. (+=skill level) Playing to cash and playing to win are two completely different mentalities. Ryan was probably thinking, "Death by a million paper cuts (blinds/antes/rate increases), or start swinging for the fences (opportunity to double through=high risk/high reward). In that case, "Ya gotta win your all-ins" and if it doesn't work out, he has to implement that top tier slot strategy over in the 'high roller' bank with max bets. None of this min bet stuff where you won't qualify for the jackpot when it hits (and it will-eventually). If all else fails then he just blames it on Joey "The Mush". Caity will understand, and at the end of the day, that's all that matters. Happy wife, happy life......RYYAAANNNN!!!!👿

It's an objectively terrible play. If it's a naked nut fd against a set it'd be like 25%, AJs/ATs is like 33%, and JT is around 40%. The only even odds would be JTs vs KQ. A5s vs KQ would be 33%, and AJs/ATs would be about 40%.

Also took me a long time to realise, when you're chip leader, there's no point tangling with the player in second unless you're keeping the pot small... Played aces on more than one occasion online and live and I lost almost my entire stack and left with 5 or 6 BB when I could have coasted to a final table spot my picking my spots better. You don't win tournaments with one hand, in fact some of my best wins came from making a final table with short stacks to go on to win.
