Why do people keep saying its a $1/day? Yes - the minimum amount you'll need to spend is $365 for an entire year, upfront. HOWEVER, that only gives you a VERY limited amount of actual processing per month. 30 minutes. Anything more is $0.04 per second, $2.40 per minute. Depending on how much processing you need, it could actually be a LOT cheaper to buy a suit - since that has no ongoing expenses. Move AI is still WAY to expensive.

Which suit are you referring to? My Xsens was almost $300 a month for mvn basic, and that was limited to 30min of processed animation as well. In a lot of scenarios, I actually prefer the results I get with Move to the Xsens, and compared to Rokoko it blows it out of the water. I agree the $1 a day is confusing though.

@@birdonfiremedia Perception Neuron doesn't have any ongoing fees - or at least it didn't when checked last time. Rokoko also doesn't, unless that has changed. My point is, the pricing structure is weird for Move AI. Unless you are just toying around with it all the time, WHY do you need an entire year or processing? If it was a production-tool, they'd have monthly options, as you aren't ALWAYS going to be in production of something 365 days a year. Beyond that, the fact they make you spread the years allowance of data over the entire year means that some, or even most of that processing you get for $365 a year is going to be wasted - unless you are willing to wait an entire year to process all your clips. The pricing structure is simply weird, and seems more aimed at people messing around with motion tracking vs. an actual production-ready product.

Only bad thing is, you cant pay 1 dollar per day. You need to pay per month or even per year. And even then you still get only 10 minutes per month of you get the monthly subscription and only 30 minutes per month if you get the yearly paid subscription. This sucks. This way you are unable to make a pretty long movie if you wanted too. Or even a short movie as you will still need a lot of hours of motion captured animations. I am also unsure if it takes time out of this 10 minute cap if the solve for the motion went wrong(e.i. the motion tracking went a bit wrong after you "export" it. Then your basically screwed i think. Pls tell me i am wrong tho

A motion capture suit is around 330 dollars so at that point you're renting this service for one year for the same price to own a suit. I don't know what the ten minute limit is but that makes it sound unusable for most projects

It really sounds like what you're saying amounts to a bad thing which is why I'm so confused. And if you are why do you have 119 likes? Software and app and iPhones aside, If someone is creative enough to make a movie without a production company, why the hell shouldn't they? Cuz it isn't Hollywood enough? Maybe that's the problem. And based on the amount of creative production value in this promotional video alone, which probably included a script and storyboard, I'd buy it even though I have an Android. You can buy an iPhone 8 for $80 in Canada lol the video did mention iPhone 8 or newer. 🤷🏽‍♂️ only need 2 cameras per subject. So for about $500 you can track up to 6 people at 1 time for a scene. Compared to buying just the gloves for tracking suit is $500 🤷🏽‍♂️ I own a iPhone 14 pro max and 11 pro max, from the last couple years of owning phones. I sold the older models that are unsupported for firmware upgrades. Never got the 12 or 13 didn’t offer anything new from my 11 🤷🏽‍♂️ Also it works on android too need to go to settings and enable a experimental mode in the app. So just ask a friend 🤷🏽‍♂️
