It's funny you say that because the immigration officer that tested me in 2005 said the exact thing you said! It was kinda sad to hear, and I have experienced some American born citizens who can't answer a lot of those questions.

The benefit is that when you enter your home country i.e UK you are not given a time stay, you have the option to stay as long as you choose. I am Canadian citizen with dual citizenship . Congrats!

Congratulations! Yeah, most of us born here can't answer those questions😂 The leather hole puncher is a game changer! I bought mine about 10 years ago too and use it on designer belts as well as vintage. I also use it for ankle strap shoes cause my ankles are skinny, and sometimes I need more holes. We used to just use a sharp pointed knife or scissors back in the day, so this is so much more cleaner and perfect hole just like the factory made.

Congratulations!!! Persons who have dual citizenship often say that an advantage is that you can choose which line to enter at immigration, whether citizen or visitor, and choose the shorter line. Another advantage is when traveling to countries that need Visas, you can use the passport that does not require a Visa. Not sure if there will be a difference in Visa free countries between US and UK though.

A major benefit for US is breezier entrance into most countries, shorter wait or no wait for Visas. Maybe similar to Britain, but I think we have more ties to other countries for business. I’ve found it often means they are more accommodating when you travel. Can skip to shorter lines sometimes at the airport. Also you’ll have US consulate access if you ever run into issues. With your line of work, I’m sure it will make travel a bit easier to have the option of which passport to use. Like you can get into Cuba easier with British.

I am South African and feel blessed that I can travel. I am happy that I have no urge in becoming a citizen of another country. Having to write a theses in lawn history is nonsensical in my view believe me I can pass that test. Imagine someone that could contribute immensely in the economy of the USA being denied citizenship based on lack of ability to cram. In my view craming is no indication of intelligence it's just memorising.
