All cycling races with POGACAR are pure fun..even the flattest pure sprinters stage can turn into something else with Tadej..this guy is really phenomenal..

Yep... That's exactly what everyone said in 2022.... Before the Granon... We said exactly the same thing in 2023... Before the climb to Courchevel... Tadej is an unbelievably talented rider, and he is the best man here, but this is a 3 week long race with a 2nd tier team.... Also TP will have 1hr+ less of recovery every race day than any man not in the Jersey or on the podium in this race... That is 7+ fewer hours to recover per week. 21+ less hours for the Giro... That can and will add up... Even for an athletic genius like Tadej Pogacar...

He certainly was not playing games with the sprinters as it was pretty obvious he was going to be caught but it's still fun that he's pushing even in those scenarios.
