I totally get what you mean with being in a mental state where you can enjoy it and it might not be a song you can listen to every day. When Zombie was fresh out I was still fighting my way out of depression and it hit way too close to home. I watched the MV with subtitles on and I could feel the brain fog rolling in like a wave and taking me under. Didn't listen to it again for months. Thankfully I'm lots better now and can enjoy Save Me with just a mild case of chills from how gorgeous it is.
