Today my phone flew out of my helicopter. I finished taking in all the washers and dryers and we got rid of the old Mustang. Have a beautiful day.

That’s my dad! And his name is spelled Duane 😊. He’s the absolute greatest and I’m so proud to be his daughter. He is the most hard working and humble human I know. He’s a great huntsman (I’m sure he would take you on a tour of his basement with all his mounts), fisherman, car enthusiast, and on top of all of that, he saves lives for a living (cardiologist). If you ever wanted to connect with him again, I’m sure he would be thrilled!

Not sure what mount you use on your heli but I use pivot mounts and cases when I’m flying. I fly planes so so it may still fly off but that’s just what I use. Also happy early birthday!! Brother, the fact that your phone fell out is a really bad thing. I really wouldn't have posted this. TFOA is a big deal, not to mention that I have read NTSB reports that phones or iPads falling off of their mounts and getting stuck in the rotor controls causing fatal accidents. I pray that the FAA doesn't make a big deal out of this for you 🙏. They can be ruthless. I hope that all is well. I love ya, Brother! keep up the positivity

Get the double suction cup from ram mounts. I use the double one when I fly and it works great in Moderate to severe turb!

Sea sucker suction cup mounts. You can stand on them while they're attached. I've done it.

Find a way to mount your phone with hardware not suction cause even the best suction cups can wear out. Also be careful something in youre/a passengers pockets dont fall out either. Check into if you could put a net where door goes that could help with stuff falling out

I fly with the suction cup mount from quad lock. I fly Cessnas, so I’m not positive if a helicopter vibrates more or not, but I have never had a problem with the quad lock.
