“How can side characters like Saul and Mike be so interesting!” Yep, and you have another show for that.
@gungho1284Ай бұрын
They really made a lot of improvements to the side characters over time.

Love how protective you are of Jesse, while still acknowledging his flaws like the "selective empathy" as you out it...

Just like in Mike’s story, Walter’s half-measure resulted in the little kid’s death. No more half-measures…
@TampaCEOАй бұрын
Mike's "Half Measures" monolog is so amazing. Every time someone reacts to this part of the show, I stop what I am doing and watch it fully. I can't wait for you to see Better Call Saul!!!!

Love your thoughts on Walter saving Jesse and all! Walter gets a lot of flak for many things, but people seem to forget moments like these, where he risks it all for someone else!
@sphangmanАй бұрын
In many ways , the Jesse ricin plan was a much better play.
@newpgaston6891Ай бұрын
That scene when they bought the house was quite interesting... Shows that Walt wanted more from life, but never got it; Wanted 3 kids, got 1 + 1 accident... Wanted a bigger house, thought they would move out of this one in a couple years, but 16 years later they're still in that same house...

Gus' two employees killed the boy because he knew too much about their drug business.
@gungho1284Ай бұрын
No loose ends for Gus. Not that Gus even had to order them to do it specifically. Those two guys already knew they couldn't leave a loose end with the kid.
@batman32304Ай бұрын
Yep and once again with Jesse being naive and dumb, when he made that big pitch to Gus about using kids, he was signing that boys death note. In no way shape or form are they just gonna be like beat it kid, you can’t hang with us anymore. It was pretty obvious from the jump that the kid was going to be a loose end that needed to be taken care of.
@pariamtzvАй бұрын
52:05 Yes that is VERY interesting isnt it? :) Can't wait for Better Call Saul reactions from you

"Mike is choosing half measures again by letting Walter do this call." Girl, you`re smart!
@alinadornieden8411Ай бұрын
I mean not really, he just saw the opportunity to make his job of finding Jesse much easier, he wasn't letting them go or something half measurey

This is the first time Jesse has met Heisenberg. Jesse is Heisenberg's son, while Walter Jr and Holly are Walter White's children.

You know how Jesse feels about the abuse of a child

Thanks Sophie! After watching the show a few times and multiple reactions, that was the first time i noticed the half measure speech and Walt following suit. 👏🏻 🍻
@alinadornieden8411Ай бұрын
Mike said himself, funny how his speech is so open to interpretation :D
@TheRepublican777Ай бұрын
Daddy Heisenberg you know Walt wasn't going to let Jesse die or take the blame of killing those guys he knew he would not survive two against one

Half Measures is one of the best and one of my top 10 favorites. Your reaction was pretty much like mine, my brother’s and my father’s! We watched that ending one more time before going to bed.

Wow! This is the first reactor that I have heard point out Mike's 'Half-Measure' of letting Walt use the phone.....damn.
@TheRepublican777Ай бұрын
The trust Walt has in Jesse's loyalty is spot on he knows Jesse won't let him die yup

Two of the best episodes, so so good
@TheRepublican777Ай бұрын
Yes Aaron Paul does play emotional scenes to perfection and the way he holds the tears untill he fires the gun and then lets it fall and if you evwe watch the practicr table reads Aaron Paul really cries for his scenes it is not extra fake tears that they have to put on his face he just makes himselt cry and gets the scene done its crazy good he makes others in the room cry too lol but don't watch it yet because the scene it's a later scene.
@dariusz_darson_8968Ай бұрын
You're right, the last 3 episodes of S3 were absolutely pivotal. Both for the story and for the show. Be ready, S4 and S5 are masterpieces that elevate Breaking Bad to being one of the best shows ever made
@Bayum99Ай бұрын
You are the best reactor on KZbin. No kidding, very impressive and entertaining
@cluster_f1575Ай бұрын
Agreed. I also really appreciate about Sofie is she one of the very few reactors I've seen who will pause the show to discuss her thoughts. Often times I'll see reactors have discussions/expressing their thoughts as the show continues to play & they end up missing out on some important dialogue.
@NPA1001Ай бұрын
I firmly believe these episodes were the genesis of “Better Call Saul”
@cartwright77Ай бұрын
That’s one of my favorite scenes with Walt and Mike
@TheRepublican777Ай бұрын
I think Jesse's plan would have worked i don't think anyone would have connected it to them unless Gus did a thorough investigation but he could have just thought it was the Cartel or food poisoning at a restaurant but the kid still knows whats going on and if Gus knew they were using a kid to do their work then he knows he is part of their gang and will either get too more guys to take him or kill him anyway.
@TheRepublican777Ай бұрын
Yea they didn't realize no children means you have to get rid if him because you don't leave a gang otherwise
@TheRepublican777Ай бұрын
Lol they always tell Saul everything lol but of course Saul tells Mike and Mike works for Gus lol and Jesse in jail would bring attention to them.

As an (allegedly) former criminal I can say that most of us have very normal lives outside of (work). We're not out causing trouble 24/7. It can actually get down right boring at times. A lot of us are just like everybody else when not working. We like to spend time at home with the family
@TigerNightmareАй бұрын
One of the most annoying fan theories in the aftermath of this finale was how Jesse moved the gun and missed on purpose, ignoring how Jesse's arm didn't move in that final shot, it was the camera that moved. Anyone that thinks these writers would ever pull their punches just isn't paying attention.
@TheRepublican777Ай бұрын
I think most people know that Jesse knows they are both dead especially Walter for the moment will die if he doesn't kill Gale and we all know that Jesse does what Walt asks of him.
@TheRepublican777Ай бұрын
Mike was hinting to Walt to kill Jesse he is a liability but Walt won't do that so he chose to tell Gus that wasn't a good plan either

At the end of the day Walt’s a bad guy. Sure you can say part of it was to save Jesse but a big part of it is that he gets off on the danger. Also let’s be honest his relationship with Gus would’ve fizzled eventually. Gus had big reservations about Walt and I don’t think Walt could stand Gus being the boss and not him
