As someone who hasn't been impressed so far with the game I must say this does add a lot to the game. Baby animals and the weather actually making a difference is a big plus to me 👍

Aug. 21, 2024 Mr. Sealyp, you make me smile from ear to ear with all your excitement!!! If you look closely at the sign for the Ferry, you will see that Giants have based a portion of Riverbend Springs in Arkansas, which is the state I live in!!! I think that's fantastic! I'm loving that baby animals are coming for EVERYONE!!! That's how it should be. And the tornados....let me tell you, those are TERRIFYING in real life and the devastation left behind is horrific. I was not impressed with fs22 (especially seasons). But, man, Giants didn’t fail to impress me now. Still not a big fan of the way too simplified gps but everything else is 😍 Awesome visuals, balers that need to be filled, the new crops, baby animals, waterbuffaloos, goats, weather that actually damages your crops, bales that need to be put under a roof (bale rotting?), the fog (yes, I like it), roads that are painted and flow with the terrain, for the first time an actual base game map I want to play, US spec equipment, etc etc. You can tell they finally ditched the antique consoles. Hopefully some more interesting animal feeding and things like insecticide, pesticide, germination and crop rotation (time will tell) I am so looking forward to this game. 👍

This looks amazing.....WOW, i suppose all we'll get here in England is we can't harvest because it's raining all the time 😂😂😂😂😂, also i wonder if on the Asia map Will we get typhoons ripping thru 🤔 interesting, can I just ask to Mr sealyp why can't you play the music from the game...... Colour me imoressed! Baby animals in the base game is definitely a good addition, but weather events that have a significant impact on your farm and the environment is both amazing and bonkers!! I have so many "Does it affect XYZ?!?" questions about the weather and specifically destructive forces like tornadoes!

Only thing I am worried about with the Tornado's is that modders go crazy and use them on european maps, as they are far less common here then elsewhere in the world.

I think we’ve become spoiled over the past two releases with near perfect harvests and crops that only get damaged if you run over them (with the proper mod). I would welcome negative events that can happen to your crops, because that’s what happens in real life. There’s always the chance that seeds won’t germinate, a swarm of locusts or an unexpected drought (and yes, even a tornado) destroys your crops. More than likely we’ll have the option of turning tornadoes off, but I like the realism being injected in the game. It is what everyone clamors for in a simulator after all.

Imagine the Tornado is like the landscaping tool and you could steer it. Move it around the map and get rid of the trees you don´t like. Different kind of foresty tool.

Awesome video aa always! I grew up in Arkansas and tornados are just the way of life in the south. I live in Michigan now so I'm pretty accustomed to just about all weather. I have lived in Oklahoma where in the winter it gets pretty icy and are very known for tornadoes. I have lived in Alabama and they get very violent tornado and hurricanes. Moved to Wisconsin and my first year we had a very bad blizzard. And now I live in Michigan and we get blizzards here too where I live. I live on a corn farm and weather plays a major role in operations. So I am very happy to see that weather plays some part in this game. It would be nice if the water effected the soil. So if it don't rain alot or comes a drought then we can irrigate. I'm really hoping they have blizzards too bc the cold has a very big impact on crops. A bad winter is very very costly.

I’m glad they are bring extreme weather to farm sim. They had tornadoes and droughts back in the very first farm sim. In the 90’s before giants. What took them so long to get it implemented in the game. lol Can’t wait for fs25

The game is looking amazing and if ANYONE says this is just a reskin again they need to be taken behind the woodshed cause this is anything but a reskin. Weather looks amazing and the baby animals addition is great. I love that weather was added especially that the map is set in Tornado Alley of the United States. Also MrSealyp you need to check with giants because as a partner you should be able to use their audio.

It would be nice if the weather affects your yield. Like too dry makes the crops yield less. Too much drowns them out and causes loss.

The Peel Ferry Sign is a real place in Arkansas I live by there and have been on the ferry many times. It is on Bull Shoals Lake its part of the white river chain of lakes just thought it was cool to see.

In fs my equipment usually goes flying off the trailer on its own due to crap strapping without the help of a tornado anyway. Should be interesting at the least. Not getting too excited, we all know the stongest department at giants is the marketing department!

Hmm... FS 11, 13, 15 & 17 felt like arcade games (ish) without any mods added. As for 19 it got A bit more realistic then even more for 22. How far are they going with 25? Wow!

I can't wait to pre order at the end of the month we have dynamic weather in train Sim world and that's what it is dynamic you never know what it's going to do they wouldn't be dynamic you couldn't do that if you was a real farmer you have to work as the weather let's you turn the month to July for the the duration of your save like it is now dynamic weather is exactly that you get what you get when you get it and you have to deal with it that is dynamic if you can turn it off it's not dynamic it's just like what we have now

Very glad to see baby animals, but the tornado effect looks very unfinished visually. Probably about as good as the engine can manage, but it's hard to take a tornado seriously when grass and trees barely move. The editing seems to imply that tornados will destroy trees, but we dont actually get to see it happening in real-time, which raises some questions. Best case scenario: they aren't ready to show tree destruction yet. Maybe it will look totally awesome, who knows? Middle case scenario: it happens but looks too bad to show off in a trailer, for example perhaps intact trees just immediately switch to a "destroyed" look with no real animation or transition, which would be better than nothing, but quite jarring to look at. Worst case scenario: No tree destruction. The destroyed trees we saw in the video did not result from a tornado, but were rather already placed on the map. Don't take this as one of those "never happy with anything" comments, I'm excited for FS25 and have been since it was announced, I like most of the new features and improvements (especially GPS), just saying I'm not quite blown away (ha ha) by the tornado specifically. P.S MrSealyP have you checked out the new trailer for RoadCraft? It's an upcoming game from the makers of Mudrunner and it looks very interesting to say the least.

Tornadoes are not cool. Tornadoes are not funny. They form with very little warning and cause injury, death, and expensive destruction. They are not an enhancement to the game, more of a sadistic addition. Hopefully, we can turn them off.
