Isa Genzken, darling of intellectuals and curators, but virtually unknown outside of Germany. She operates where late modernist concept art crashes into the rocky shores of postmodernism. She can be found wading in the tide pools and wandering the sandy stretches, searching out the cultural flotsam and jetsam. Someone has to do it, but it's someone else's job to find meaning in it.
