This was just a cool battle. Just all sorts of fun stuff happened. I was worried he was going to be using all the attacks he’s been using already, but of course not! Using what he’s familiar with. AFS is slowly starting to use AFO tactics as he gets forced back. Just because he didn’t show them doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a SHIT ton of quirks. That’s the case for BOTH AFS and AFO. They for all intensive purposes have unlimited quirks even though they are both “weakened” We are FINALLY seeing the layers and layers of plates working. I don’t see it as anything more than a brief one trick. There is just no way he can’t annihilate it all at once. The plate vanished just as easy as the regular concrete. The combination of quirks in play to make this thing makes me REALLY smile though. The awesome electric barrier (PLEASE last Kaminari. I know that’s not your specialty.) Best Jeanist being the coolest he’s EVER been even when he caught Machia. This guy is just GREAT. (And most CERTAINLY going to die) Power Loader is having the time of his LIFE. Cementoss and Momo being a repair squad makes me smile. I knew she couldn’t be out there fighting Nomus unless she went FULL alchemist like in FMA. And that would require a serious awakening. Not to mention Hatsume, Ectoplasm,…….Nezu. Yeah STILL not comfortable. That underground maze is a TERRIBLE evacuation plan. It requires a lot of work for the villains to get through…and the people to even use it. Designed as a coffin according to Best Jeanist. And Nezu is a specialty in chain reactions. We MAYYYY be looking at the villains counter play here. Mirko, Amajiki and Deku were meant to be close quarters. I’m starting to think Amajiki’s food isn’t actually attached to his body. It can be dequipped, eaten, and the areas covered don’t seem to have damage on his actual body. Which is good for decay because otherwise he’s DEFINITELY dead. MONOMA IS HAVING THE TIME OF HIS LIFE AND I LOVE IT. There is ABSOLUTELY no way that will block his long range blasts on its own. But he does have a 10 minute limit not a 5. Something Aizawa wouldn’t know from the AvB arc. (Also Aizawa being low key proud in the corner is great.) Also Mirko lost her bionic parts already! Well….I think we are about to see some people die. The AFS fight thus far is NOT disappointing. This is just cool. If they have systems like this for every villain split up, we really don’t have to worry about anyone being unused even if it’s for very small roles. I mean he found an awesome use for MANGA. And the more he splits focus to other characters, the more of a chance the villains win. In the home stretch, it’s more important than ever for the main characters to expand their arsenals and show off as the main characters they are. Deku, Bakugo, Todoroki, Uraraka, and Iida are the ones to give us the best shows. (And considering the danger of Deku’s OFA being taken, I assume Deku was meant to use the 2nd quirk on AFS. Which I’m thinking is a PURE energy blast being an older version of Bakugo’s quirk from the rebel leader) I can’t make any calls until I get a better look at the crews in charge of stopping these teams. And I still assume a Machia crew will be needed in time. But if they all have environments like this, I’m going to be smiling ear to ear the whole way.

If I recall correctly from season 3, two of the quirks AFO used in his 'mega arm' to try and take down All Might were Hypertrophy and Multiplier. Both of them seem to be what Shigaraki is combining here for his counterattack against Mirko. Also, what's going with AFO's original body? It's clear that he has a copy of the AFO quirk within it and is using them to fight. What do the heroes have planned for him specifically? Do they even consider him as big a threat as Shigaraki?
