Kata Rd offers lots of shops, restaurants, Bar & accommodation.

Great video Tony! Ibis is a good hotel. Very large pool and a great breakfast buffet. Nice to see all the street food areas. Kata can definitely be a little touristy but that beach is the best for scuba diving!!!

1. How is kata during songkran? 2. Is there a night club in kata? I’m going here because I’m with my wife.

No nightclubs in Kata but plenty of places to get a drink and most will be open till late Kata is Just ok during Songkran Patong is of course the main area but you will see a little action with small water fights but nothing to worry about if it's not your things 👍

Oh it’s what I like from Kata beach go to Kata for fun na khap. Sometime I go and sometime no other beach na go other beach sometime khap but like to go Kata for the eating with food. You say me go try burger, 100 baht, I try laew. Aroy aroy! It good for burger, Khun Tony na

Great video, Tony. Just got back from two weeks in Kata, Phuket, staying at the Hotel Ibis Kata. Nice hotel, pool and breakfast. The Thai food at the Night Markets were wonderful as well. Thanks for your travel tips in your videos as they were very helpful in Thailand.

I stayed at the Kata Sea Breeze in May 23. Unfortunately it wasn't a great stay. All the breakfast food was taken by the Russians, leaving not much for anyone else. we had money taken from our rooms when the cleaners came in . I've been to Thailand 11 times, and probably won't go again. It's not what it used to be.

I have to agree - the breakfast could be better… but I took most of my meals down the street at the Spudhaus … good for me! I still think back on my visit fondly… perhaps your next visit will be good for you. Beautiful Thailand .

Sure Can The Islander in Rawai ive been there myself for christmas lunch and its fab, I would suggest booking as they are busy on that day 👍
