Do you know ? Cheraman Juma Masjid is the first mosque to be built in India. It is a popular pilgrim centre in Kodungallur in Thrissur district King Cheraman converted to Islam and He was first person from India to meet Muhammad ( SAW ) gave him the name Thajuddin, meaning "crown of faith." Thajuddin was the first Indian Muslim.
