Ran into 3 different accounts of the same person that were gold3, 1500 rating and 40+ win streak. It's just impossible to play. Devs know, accounts are still up. Actions against alts and cheaters should be taken way quicker than this.

I think it can make sense and be okay if you are a onetrick in a certain mode (only ever played moving for example) and you want to practice another game mode without losing elo (like no moving for example) because you are probably a lot worse in that mode than your rating but in general I think smurfs in a game where it makes no sense should not exist

ggs i though the little flag at 27:39 was either the central sulawesi one or just a generic sumatra one, but the poletop didnt make sense for central sula so i went sumatra

its a location that has been updated by google, for example with new gen 4 coverage, but the map maker chose to use the old gen 3 or gen 2 coverage by choosing a specific pano(rama)

nah they are not from kazakhstan, they just use the flag because some individuals like castroller use it (castroller is finnish though). it was a totally gettable round for someone thats good at russia

alt accounts are sh*t but i guess the best would be to crop out the games against them as you did, give them no audience, most of them having fun trolling and cheating just to see other player suffer

Im currently only silver 1 so even if there are smurfs i still get promoted. I definitely see how smurfs become super frustrating when you start losing elo for losing games, or compede for placements in champion. In my last week there were already 2 smurfs in the leaderboard

Alts are bad but does it even matter 1600+.usually the difference between 1600 and Rank 1 is mostly the time you grind. Which means the skill should be even regardless

that is correct, but on a top 50 players level it is a bit different. i would most likely know whoever it is by name if they were playing on a main and would usually have some knowledge about their strenghts/weaknesses/playstyle that i cant use while they play on an alt. it just feels very scummy

not saying that alting is right/wrong, but i think the good players who play on alts generally do so to avoid having to worry about losing elo while also still being able to play competitively. the alts lennli plays against aren't going to be people who want to play against lower rated players - if they're at his rating it means they only ever play against good players.
