I just hate when it ends man.. I’ve been refreshing KZbin everyday waiting for you to post a new video.. and i instantly look at the length of the video hoping for a 45 min long one ( wishful thinking). Ive been connected to wildlife since i was a boy, and over the las year ive reconnected to it when i picked up my first camera Nikon z6. When i found you ive been hooked every since. Ive been going through so much since my daughter passed away two years ago, and you as a person, as a human, your personality, your passion for wildlife, these videos, they are so therapeutic for my mental health.. i was going threw some mental challenges this week and i was on KZbin everyday hoping Morten put up the next video.. thank you for being a beautiful creation of our God/Creator.. sharing your life and story with us. Much love to you my brother

Absolutely superb footage. Most Z9 buyers are going to throw a panic attack if they get a single spec of mud or drop of water on their kit, and yet you show exactly how tough it has been built 😁

One of the big considerations I had when debating on getting a Nikon even though I don’t really go out in bad weather. I couldn’t decide between canon r6 or Nikon z6ii. I went with canon, but I have a month to decide if I want to keep it. I’m just a hobbyist so there’s nothing spec wise that I really need. But I the autofocus is what swung me towards canon for now. I do like how all of nikons lenses are WR where as canon only L glass has WR

Morten, you are one of the few true wildlife photographers on KZbin! Great inspiration! Doing the same, but on a much smaller scale, I can't imagine such kind of photography without spending night in a tent, without feeling a full cycle of nature with a beauty of a different weather, seasons, time of the day, after all. And you have all of it in your life! That's amazing! Keep sharing it with us please! It's so nice to watch your videos, especially when not being able to feel a portion of it myself on a weekend...

Morten, you bring the viewer with you, such real life situations. All through this series I have been totally absorbed by your technique and story telling in some inhospitable environment. My original interest was the goal of your project, the Z9 in Svalbard, but I found myself more and more just awestruck by the content of each video and how you managed in Svalbard. Some 46 years ago I was there, a young photographer with a limited amount of film You have rekindled the memories of that trip. Thank you for this and your awesome channel (love the BTS personal touch).

Hey Morten! I could not refrain myself from making a comment. I'm tottaly with you, when you are conscious about animals resting for a bit, and decide to respect it. But man! you make my hair stand when you put your expensive gear on the rocks, let it freeze and get wet. I gues, that is part of being a great photographer. I care too much for my inexpensive camera and lenses, but seldomly make a good shot. Although the part that made me subscribe, is your respect for wildlife. I just love animals. Thanks for caring.

Thank you Morten for taking us all with you and showing the beauty of such a unique and un-disturbed place. Your enthusiasm and respect for nature is truly an inspiration to all that will listen. Your "real life" example of what it means to be a nature and wildlife photographer is refreshing. You demonstrate that the camera gear in your hands is like any other tool... It is there for a purpose like a hatchet or knife, unlike others where it is simply jewelry to keep in a bag, polish and wear around their neck to show off. Thank you for being and inspiration to us all.

Wonderful video, thank you so much. I am going to Svalbard in the summer of 2023 and your set of videos is informative and inspiring and will help me prepare. I should add though, that although the Nikon Z9 looks like a wonderful camera, I do feel that the results you obtained could also have been obtained with the top-of-the-line cameras from Canon, Olympus and perhaps Sony. It seems to me that the results you obtained will justifiably warm the hearts of Nikon users but I don't see users from the other camera lines switching. Of course, other features of the Z9 are unique and might lead to photographers switching to this camera but specifically the wildlife photography in difficult conditions that you have demonstrated can also be achieved with the R3, EM1X, and possibly A1. Thank you for showing how to obtain such wonderful photos in such an interesting habitat.
