This is a further proof that every society gets what it deserves not what it wants. I landed at Gnassingbé Eyadéma International Airport, in Lomé, a couple of years ago in transit from Atlanta through New Jersey. I was quite impressed by the cleanliness there. That airport was cleaner than most airports in US and Europe. This visual tour of Lome proves that the neatness and care is not only at the airport. Very nice. Proud of this country. Thank you Eboh Media for this. Keep up the good job.

@@sasorah6414 you can't compare lome with Cotonou, though I have not been to Lome. I lived in Cotonou for 10months. The city is wrecked Police are corrupt Poor environment Expensive House rents Expensive food stuffs. Crazy citizens Youths restiveness. Poor education No good roads. Floods when it rains Mosquitoes everywhere. Potholes even in their city centres. Landlords and agents are scammers. They will increase their rents more than 100% if they know you are a Nigerian. Their okada men and taxi drivers are criminals ready to milk you and fight you at any moment. I went there to see if I can reside n do my master's but behold their school is expensive and moreover their certificates has no value in Nigeria but only in Benin.

Do you think its safe for white tourists who speak little to no french? Im american and never been abroad and want to learn about lots of different countries, but information about Togo is scarce, lol. So if you dont mind, what are some tips you have for tourists or some nice places to visit outside of lome, local customs ect! ! J'aimerais avoir de vos nouvelles

I just got back from Togo. Its a horrible place about an 100 years behind civilization. I don't know where they shot this video, but that's not the real Lome. Lome is very dirty chaotic place. Most of the streets don't have names or addresses. Once you get off the main road their all dirt roads. Houses have no numbers my friends have s house there, they can't tell you the address because the street doesn't have a name and they have no house numbers. The roads are so horrible trash and broke down abandoned houses and cars everywhere. Bars on all windows on every house. I went to the prayer village and it was way more civilized and orderly. Much cleaner then Lome

»]. WWW.PHILIPPEKACOU.ORG

@@obedstiffler2210 hi Friend. I visited Lagos again and again. Some Nigerian Friends recognise what i am talking about. Lagos has more big infrastructures in west Africa nobody deny that aspect but things are not well organised compared to Abuja , Abidjan and Dakar to limite it in west Africa. Compared to other parts of Africa, let me tell you that Lagos can't stand with cities like cape town, Johannesburg, Nairobi, Addis ababa and even Kigali etc the list is long. Beauty doesn't reside in having condensed constructions my friend l know what i mean . Abuja is fare ahead Lagos in beauty. To Finish l repeat that Lomé,though small and not having skyscrapers is very nice and clean than Lagos . I may live in a slump this isn't an intellectual reasonning from you. We are travelling through a lot of African cities and we can talk . A Beninese has talked from Porto Novo.

I focused my analysis upon the theme*beauty* and l asserted the beauty of a place or a city is not related to its having a lot of great infrastructures or the its width. And l asserted that Lagos isn't Well organised though it has big roads network and skyscrapers . Dakar Sénégal for exemple is more organised than Lagos you may seem angry on this but it is a truth . I 've studied about environment management and l and others enlighted nigerians know what is. We can't say the same thing about Abuja which is a very nice city
