For those who don't know, that extra scene that happened in the beginning of the anime, that wasn't in the manhwa, it was actually in the Korean light novel of solo leveling, so it's safe to say A1 PICTURES will be adapting the solo leveling Korean light novel and sticking to the manhwa artsyle at the same time

I find it amusing that Cara was instantly like "This sounds like K-pop" for the OP song, when even if TxT is singing to me the song sounds soooo very typical Hiroyuki Sawano (with whom the collab is), it just gives me strong Guilty Crown OST flashbacks, more than k-pop it feels very "song made just for this anime" but make it BGM (with the very distinctive Sawano sound) 😆

It is the best manwha, and of the very very few enjoyable ones imho. The major difference between manwha and manga is the culture being displayed, they have very different approach to humor too, say manga uses ridiculous accidental tripping and crashing into each other for ecchi humor, while manwha just has a douchebag who outrights goes and gropes women then get beaten and blown away in a single hit just like in manga. Manga has more of a play on words or "say some random stupid thing get hit" kind of humor, while manwha is a bit more varied and uses more crude humor (like groping women and getting hit). In the case of Solo Leveling, it's an entire different formula from every manwha that came before it and a really cool story (with a few lazy plot points but everyone does that from time to time with a few exceptional artists)
