Thanks for the walking tour, guys! Hope you can do more of these walking and driving tours, haha! Love it! We all miss doing these simple things since the lockdown! The best time to go to the baywalk is early morning to have some coffee and do some jogging or just a walk so it's not too hot and also late in the afternoon to watch an epic sunset! You should try and do it more often around the bay area and you'll discover more!😊

Hong-Kong did not experience empty the seaside a lot of people doing exercise and running especially the elderly people here. Restaurant still open they allowed 2persons per table, playground for children was closed and indoors activities. Keep healthy and strong everyone. God bless us all.

Neli and Mike - try to come by Manila Bay along Roxas Blvd. You will be surprised with the lights along the whole stretch. You can also see the latest solar powered water filtering structure that cleans run off water before reaching the Bay. It is near the Manila Yatch Club.

I just read somewhere that Manila is a place where ships are coming in to change crews as a lot of filipinos work on those ships and there is plans to open some other places like Subic and somewhere else. My last trip there I went to the MOA and they were adding to it. As if it was not big enough haha. I have pics of that ferris wheel. If it's allowed to go for an outdoor swimming you could check out nice and beautiful beaches in Batangas. Tagaytay is a beautiful and windy place to go on a road trip overlooking Taal Volcano. Manila Bay white sands is huge steps in cleaning and beautifying environments. Some critics says refilling of white sands is not good but the govt doing it silently. Some critics dont know, the solar powered sewage and water treatment plant was completed and was inaugurated last July 2020. All water effluents from households, hotels, restaurants and other establishments along Manila Bay are being treated in this plant. It cleans the wastewater to acceptable stadards level set by DENR before being discharge. I think the govt has plans in treating the water at the inlet side or at discharge waterways of Pasig river. Its a good start on the part of the govt to have a sound environment in water or in air.. People are tired seeing garbages landed in the bay from nearby areas. These situations are really bad as it is hazardous to our health.This had been abandoned for so many decades with no interventions at all. These administrations started the bus modernizations to comply air environment discharge. Metro Manila now has the lowest air pollutants level. Hope, they have to work more to beat the records to the very lowest level. God Bless Us All...

Our President is trying to do rehabilitation of the manila bay.. He removes the bars & restaurants along the bay that throwing away garbages & toxics etc.. In the Manila Bay it used to be so, smelly especially during low tides lots of garbages floaring in the bay.. Now it looks clean.

The Rizal Park Hotel used to be the Army and Navy Club, an American facility. My father, who was a lawyer for the USDJ, was an honorary member so I got to spend Sundays there. It was a beautiful building. I can understand why you think the hotel is pretty but I have to say the hotel has lost all the charm and character of the old club. It's just a standard hotel. There is another hotel in the area that you should visit - the Luneta Hotel which was recently restored with full respect to its history. It was built in the art nouveau style and the restorers did an excellent job.

It's really a weird feeling if we don't see that much people as much as we used to. It's kinda sad at the same time that most people and business are very much affected. The employees especially those who do not have their own transport could not go to work even if they want to. The employers want to open, but only few customers they could possibly have that may not have income to cover the salary and other expenses. Places look like ghost town. I pray that we will get back to normal or at least in a much better situation where we can go on with our lives. On the other hand, the advantage is we now have slower phase of life wherein the so much busy life has been relaxed. Many families have now more time together. There are no traffic that could exhaust us, we learn to get by on what's available and our environment has been refreshed wherein we can breath fresher air and the surroundings are cleaner. We can have even more time for ourselves.
