The training in korea usually includes all aspects of entertainment, acting, singing, comedy and dancing (though the older generations probably didnt have it) so most of them at least know how to carry a tune, even if they're not pro singer level. A lot of them also started from the stage, especially musical stage, before doing screen acting.

How many times have they made us laugh, cry and just get sucked into the stories they perfom?? Without them dramas would be so bland and boring. My heart is so moved it’s beyond words. I recognize, and love, so many of these fine actors. Just know you reached into the center of the US and made this 60 year old American heart hum with joy. An incredible sharing of our humanity. I could not understand a word but that does not matter one bit. It’s been just over a year that I fell in love with Korean dramas through Netflix, and then Viki. Vincenzo started it all and now 95% of my tv time goes to k-dramas. It's soo beautiful. I love how I know most of the actors and actresses on the stage without actually being in Korea and knowing them makes me feel like a part of Korea.
