We did visit! It is the home city of my husband’s mother. Thanks for the tips - though we didn’t make it to the restaurant - looked very good. The collection at the castle is amazing - worth a visit!

Really interesting place. I just looked up if it's accessible by a local train from nearby cities and towns, and it is. I'll be in Puglia this spring or fall, so it can be an easy ride to visit. Another add-on to my bucket list. Thanks again.

It was a pleasure to visit Melli, its castle and the abbey...I had never told about this town but it has a real interest for sure. I love the atmosphere in the restaurant, with its so kind and cosy owner, you can feel easily at home...Thank you for this very interesting video and felice anno nuovo ! 🎉❤

I google mapped it. It's on my way to Naples from hre practically....thanx. I went into a cave church once in Puglia on the Gargano Penisula. IT was an amazing church also Saint Michele ArchAngel. Incredible caves like Matera. Basilicata is really an untouched area. The mountains are huge and the infrastructe like Calabria is outdated but it won't always be like that...Buy property now LOL. Magnificent video,but no people in the streets the restaurant and bakeries empty the Abbey empty no crowds I don’t understand all of Basilica it has an eerie feeling to me
