I discover Metallica in middle school in the early 2000s. One, Fade To Black, Sanitarium, King Nothing…etc helped me get through a tough family and school life. Every time I thought I couldn’t take it no more I listened to Metallica and it gave me the strength to push forward.

Lucky you mine don't even try to listen to real music, unless a song has been played by Nightcore. I can get my daughter hooked on Anime theme songs but not Rock or Heavy metal. You should know , but in case you don't know who Nightcore is. a simple youtube search will solve it. Metallica is heavy Metals finest band, But not the only one.

That's exactly why I said Metallica is a legend before their time. And they're still Rock and strong to this very day. Granite there were some good bands out there but no band out there has done the level that Metallica has done. But to each their own I guess. @walmars3curity You'd have a lot more positive opinion on the band PRIOR TO NEWSTED BEING RUN OFF by King James and with a great front man (Damn sure not Hetfield) like a time I saw them which was one of 8 times total . The King had an altercation with a jet ski and he was unable to make the Dallas concert. So a lead man with Killer Vocal range named Bobby Richie aka Kid Rock filled in and put on the best concert Dallas Texas ever had. If you could have Kid Rock, Scott Wieland or Axle W. Rose in the front man slot they'd be what people think Elvis or the Beatles were

@victormen19 brother I just went to see them at metlife Stadium. 2 day concert tickets. I was in the snakpit. James shook our hands like a regular dude. Was worth every penny spent. My voice is still burnt out from two days of metallica, lol. Some people asked if it was scary in the snake pit, and I'm like, not at all. The nicest people you want to be around just like family. Hope they go near you, the best concert I have ever been to. Take care bro. 🤘

I'm 55 and remember going to Paris ,France with my school when I was 15 . The number of french Metal heads wearing Metallica T shirts in the Bohemian quarter was impressive . Also try the Pork Baguettes ...they are amazing . French food and Thrash . Best things of the early 80's.

I'm 52 and grew up in Belgium. Its amazing that in the early 80's there were metal heads from Belgium, France and Southern California that loved Metallica. Years later, with And Justice For All, they would become one of the biggest acts in the entire world. Happy for those guys. It's been a rough ride, but ivthink they are happy now.

It's amazing that these guys are not only still packing arenas more than three decades after they became HUGE, but that they still rock just as hard with every single show. And Hetfield? The guy is a rhythm guitar god. From the first note to the last, he's pretty much perfect in his playing.
