What an absolute beautiful journey you have in Mongolia. From sheep farming, to riding a cute Mongolian camel, to visiting a 500 year old temple town, to visiting a cute and friendly family living in ger. Keep up the good work Syifa and I can’t wait to see your next episode of your Mongolian motorbike experience. God bless you forevermore.

Love the 'pimped' Prius with the high suspension at the back! Ah, Mongolia. I've been there twice - the first time was 20 years ago. The road side pit stops have come a LONG way. But the sky, the steppes - they are so timeless. The people are amazing - so incredibly resourceful and hospitable. You were brave trying the airag. Wasn't a good experience for me. Very edgy. Makes your eyes water. I hope that you have an incredible time.
@SyifaAdrianaКүн бұрын
@@TraceyD-vg3vv Tracey, you are so spot on and described it so perfectly! Really loved reading your comment so thanks a lot. I agree that resourceful is the perfect way to describe them and I was deeply impressed at how they are able to not just survive but thrive. Yeah I was skeptical with the airag, my tummy wasnt happy with it afterwards but I just had to try it 😂 I had a much better experience the second time trying it elsewhere a few days after filming this. How long were you in Mongolia for?

Very nice. Good to see people still living traditionally. And nice they have been able to add some modern tech into their lifestyle. The scenery reminds me of places in Wyoming and other northern western states. A magnificent solitude... Strange that so few choose to live in freedom.
@SyifaAdriana2 күн бұрын
Thanks a lot, Gary! I agree that majority of people who live outside of the city still maintain their traditional lifestyle but using a lot of modern tech to help their day-to-day life. Indeed, Mongolia would be the best country if you are looking for a magnificent solitude. A true sense of inner peace!
@garylester39762 күн бұрын
@SyifaAdriana Yeah, I sense that... I was actually the first person to start using the term: "Neoindigenous" online for something other than new poetry in old styles.. My usage was for combining new tech with traditional lifestyle concepts. Now thousands using the term like I did. One of my sons saw me using the term and checked word usage online. I've lived in Central America 29 years, did a tropical Permaculture project and lived subsistence. Now getting old, but fun aside: was walking my GSD's this morning and had an Indigenous woman ask if I needed a Wifey? 🤣 I said sure, but wanted a thin one! 🤭 I'm probably safe, most of the Indian women here, are short and wide! But I do like them as people... Now worried because its coffee picking season, and theres a Gazillion Indigenous women in the area! 🤣 Actually I am working towards going back to the US, and building a Gypsy Wagon using modern tech, and living Nomadic with Horses and maybe a Tractor... So hopefully the Joke isnt on me! That I'm not presented with an offer I cant refuse! Whats interesting here in Central America, is the Indigenous people look very much like people from the Altai Mountains in Central Asia which are the closest genetically to Native Americans. My neighbors could walk into Altai and be assumed locals... My mother grew up on an Indian Reservation in the Dakotas, her grandfather a Geman blacksmith for the US Army on the Reservation in the 1800's, So I grew up with a good opinion of Native Americans... and I have always enjoyed being around them and learning from them. I will be watching your videos, think I have hit the notifications button, subbed for sure! You might consider the Altai for a video, with the theme of checking out the people Native Americans came from... There and north Eastern Siberia are stunningly similar culturally... I would love to see them connect online... Take care! Oh! Before I forget, there's a term in Spanish; "El Hogar de los buen Adventureros." "The home of the good Adventurers." its a term for Heaven or Paradise... (Those who do good Adventures are the people of Heaven...) Good adventures to you Syifa Adriana!

It is insane to watch an extensive desert and camels on such elevation. A very different Mongolia that I'd in my imagination! My imaginary Mongolia had nomad herders of reindeer who lived in -25 degrees. I mean, that was what I had watched on a DW documentary. Yes, enjoy as much as you can. Life is too short not to enjoy.
@SyifaAdriana2 күн бұрын
Indeed, there are a wide variety of landscape. The DW Documentary was filmed during last winter and in the northern part of Mongolia. You can easily join a tour with this reindeer herders too if you travel to Mongolia. The tours are held regularly.

They should established windmills for yielding wind energy and avoid burning woods for fire for cooking foods. I enjoyed very much your MONGOLIA tour-blog. Stay healthy Madame ADRIANA.
