Not in elder Scrolls, but I love to get the Fatman right outside vault 111 in fallout 4 alongside the 44 Magnum and all the easy to get weapons, so I have a good start in every character I get

In oblivion, the first fighters guild quest has you exterminate rats and the house you go to also has a bunch of pillows

@@MrLogistician That's Morrowind, actually. Drarayne Thelas is the pillow-obsessed woman whose house you clear out. But there is a quest in Oblivion (which involves a presumed relative of Drarayne, Arvena Thelas) that has you protecting rats from mountain lions.

After well over 15 years I learned again something new about Morrowind... So far I really thought Elton Brand was the most obscure quest, very closely followed by Spellbreaker. Both can really only be found by pure luck and both have either a kinda narrow timewindow or you have to fulfill a couple of ultra specific prerequisits to even be able to start the quests...

4:18 lets see you have three options. Recal, yup thats always a good one, Almsivi intervention and divine intervention. you can even buy scrolls for these so it can remain in character with your muggle build.

Use the pillows wisely, there's not that many in the game. They are perfect for building pillboxes in the wild to the air so you can shoot from good position, or do as I did last time, cover Caius's house with them, soft and white room for those skooma crash downs. But yeah, pillows are great for building, relatively easy item to stack when dropped from the inventory.

My super powerful mage has become hilarious because if I am lazy and just dump my hot-keyed mega spells on a few rats in transit it'll take him weeks to get between two towns. In my time he is ludicrously fast compared to the average character, but on the game's calendar it is just absurd. Poor Dagoth will probably get totally bored waiting for six years to pass and then get ambushed by an absolutely manic mage floating in and wrecking him.

3:41 Speaking as a guy who drives truck for a living, it does happen on occasion that you'll take a full load out but because of the day of the week or the will of the gods there just aren't a lot of pickups so you might have a 5 ton box truck carrying just a few pieces back to the depot. I suppose it's possible in a fantasy setting that this ship departed loaded to the gills with spice or grain or whatever else, and then there just didn't happen to be any return cargo from its turnaround point.

Morrowind is PEAK TES/Bethesda. Bethesda should study Morrowind so that they can make a good game. They should require their post-Morrowind employees to play Morrowind.
